Not Just Another Pretty Course

Believe it or not, some people think that art is just a ‘fun’ course.  Well, I can’t necessarily argue…  it is fun!  However, the world of art is also filled with concepts that challenge our ways of thinking and urge us to explore our world in new ways.  After having the opportunity to read Andrew K. Miller’s post entitled Visual Art as Critical Thinking, I was so excited to share his appreciation for the often unseen qualities that are entrenched in several art programs.  Thank you for your insight Andrew.  Many art teachers will join me in applauding your observations!
