Baby Steps

Although I am a teacher, I consider myself a student most of the time.  There are always new things to learn, new concepts to teach, new methods to try, and of course, new classes and pupils!  As teachers, nothing should hold us back from experimenting with anything unfamiliar… that’s how we learn.  Daily, we encourage our students to explore, persist, imagine, create.  Why shouldn’t we model these qualities?

The creation of a class blog is my first attempt to connect my tech explorations with my students and their families.   Art With Mrs. Rose is in its infancy stages, but I hope to add to it regularly with new posts about student projects, information for parents and a gallery for student work.  I’m so proud of the work my students do, and I want to make sure that others have the opportunity to appreciate what a great school we have.
